Raymond Harris
Bio for Raymond Harris

My name is Raymond Harris. I was a professional soccer player for 15 years in Costa Rica and Mexico. In Costa Rica, I was a part of the National Team (1996-1998) and the Athletic Director for a combined elementary/high school. In Mexico, I played for Leon, Veracruz, and Puebla. I was nominated the Best Left Defender in the Mexican Premiere League. I received my “A” license in coaching and a certificate as a professional instructor (Mexico).

I received my national diploma from the “N.S.C.A.A”. (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) here in the United States.

Currently I play for the Sacramento Knights and have been nominated one of the Best Defenders two years straight. Each year I have been nominated by the National Premiere Soccer League (NPSL) to be part of Northwest Conference ALL-STAR TEAM (2005-2006). Recently we won the National championship of the NPSL.

I have been coaching competitive soccer for14 years and coaching boys and girls high school soccer (Rio Americano and Elk Grove High School) for 5 years. I have a CYSA “E/D” license and a USSF “B” license.

My objectives are to continue to play, coach or teach perspective soccer players. As an instructor, I will develop the natural attributes of the player. In order to produce confident players that compete at their maximum capacity, I will use my knowledge, skills and experience to prepare them to be successful at the next level (competitive soccer, high school soccer, college soccer).

I can help your soccer player achieve his/her ultimate goal (a college scholarship). I am a person who loves soccer, likes to travel and participate in social activities. However most of all, I love to be on the field: appreciating, teaching and developing soccer techniques.
