Strikers Training and Camp

This training, camp is about one thing and one thing only - "SCORING GOALS". Players will be taught everything they need to know about the art of scoring goals. The coaching staff will teach and re-enforce good goal scoring habits. This includes striking/placing the ball, creating goal-scoring opportunities, 1v1s, penetrating runs, crossing, finishing, volleys, headers, breakaways, and "goal poaching". This program is designed for players who are looking to improve their goal scoring abilities and for players who want to become more effective forward players. This camp/training is the most successful camp/training that WBSA offers. The time and location is TBA.

Goalkeeper/Training

This program is designed for goalkeepers of all ages (U9-U19) and skill levels. Goalkeepers will be broken into gender, age, skill specific groups and will work with some of the areas top goalkeeper coaches. Topics covered include stretching, breakaways, courage, ball handling, distribution, punting, angle play, control catching, organizing the defense, footwork, high balls, diving, defending penalty kicks, boxing, and agility training. Other activities include MLS Shootout and goalkeeper wars.
 
Defenders, Midfielders Training and Camp

This program is designed for defenders/midfielders of all ages (U9-U19) and skill levels. This new training/ camp is designed for players looking to increase their knowledge of the art of defending and midfielders. Players who play in any position can benefit from this training/ camp. Topics that will be covered include: defending as a team, individual/small group defending (1v1, 2v2), closing down the ball, covering, tackling, heading, angle of recovery runs, clearances, interceptions, reading the game, communication, organization, and concentration.

camp2Speed, Agility, Coordination

This Training Program focuses on enhancing the speed and agility skills of each athlete by improving acceleration mechanics, agility, balance, and flexibility through aerobic and anaerobic training. Over the course of one week, all participants will learn the correct acceleration mechanics and techniques to be more explosive on the soccer field. The Program provides the opportunity for an individual player, a small grouping, or an entire team to train with "state of the art" equipment. This is all accomplished in a competitive environment by WBSA professional trainers. The Director of this program and Greg Howard specialize; will apply his extensive experience in developing the optimum training programs necessary to achieve your desired results.
  • Players will gain valuable experience about the importance of warming up and stretching prior to participating in the game of soccer
  • Players will see an overall performance in their speed and agility upon completion of the program
  • Players will learn the appropriate techniques to make themselves faster and stronger soccer players
  • Players will see an immediate improvement in their balance, coordination, and overall flexibility
  • Players will learn life lessons about correct techniques for running, turning, cutting, jumping, sprinting, changing directions, and game preparation. This training program is customizable to individuals, small groups, teams, or entire Clubs. Please contact us for more information.
